Bee Pollen

WARNING: POLLEN IS HIGHLY ALLERGENIC/ TEST WITH TWO OR THREE GRAINS UNDER THE TONGUE. IF THERE IS ANY ITCHING OR SWELLING IN THE MOUTH OR THROAT, PROCEED WITH CAUTION. READ MORE BELOW.

How much BEE POLLEN should I take at one time for ENERGY?
We recommend you start with the size of a dime in your palm, once per day in the morning. Your body will build up immunity to the pollen over a few weeks and you can take more. One teaspoon to a tablespoon a day is NOT too much, but YOU HAVE TO MONITOR your own body.

How much BEE POLLEN should I take at one time for ALLERGIES?
3-5 grains of pollen at one time is going to be enough to start. You want to monitor yourself closely to avoid a severe allergic reaction while your body’s immune system retrains itself. After a couple of weeks you may be able to take more but be careful. Adults should administer pollen grains for children with allergies.

How do I ingest fresh Bee Pollen?
Other than popping the grains from your palm into your mouth, they are nicely disguised in a spoonful of honey (if the taste bothers you or giving them to children). Pollen likes to be COLD- therefore we suggest trying it in cold cereals, plain yogurt, smoothies, fruit juice or sprinkled over salad greens!

How is Bee Pollen collected from the bees?
Pollen is collected with a special bottom box called a Pollen Trap that knocks 1/2 of the pollen the bees carry on their legs as they enter the hive. Our pollen contains a very broad spectrum of flower and tree pollens in it. We mix different pollens collected in various bee yards to yield a more potent product for fighting allergies.

What should I do if the Bee Pollen gives me an allergic reaction?
Drink water and relax! Take a much smaller dose next time but don’t be put off by your reaction. You just need to adjust the quantity that you are taking. Remember, the pollen is going to help you build an “oral tolerance” to airborne pollens that agitate your systems. By taking small “homeopathic” doses of what you are allergic too, your body will get a chance to learn that the pollens it’s been reacting to are no threat.
